Our Team
Meet the team that believes taking on your claim is an honour and a privilege. Together, we bring to the table extensive Vancouver personal injury law experience, well-rounded expertise and an insider’s understanding of ICBC.
Del Feller – Senior Personal Injury Lawyer
For over 35 years, Del Feller has made handling personal injury and ICBC claims his specialty. In addition to being a personal injury lawyer in Vancouver, Del served as a RCMP officer gaining extensive knowledge of BC’s traffic control laws—and how accidents are investigated by the police and ICBC. It comes as no surprise that Del is exceptionally proficient in analyzing traffic accident circumstances and the resulting injuries.
Ever since his firm was created in 1974 in Vancouver, Del has been successfully working against ICBC and standing up for the rights of accident victims. Del is passionate about obtaining a fair settlement for his clients, and he isn’t afraid to take a claim to trial.
Del is an active volunteer and served on the board for the Western Canada Society to Access Justice, a non-profit organization offering pro bono legal services. Del has also made a substantial contribution to provincial legislation involving the removal of the limitation period for victims of sexual abuse.
Simon Murphy – Personal Injury Lawyer
Simon has been a practicing personal injury lawyer in Vancouver, concentrating on ICBC claims since his call to the Bar in 2000. Simon has unique insight into handling personal injury claims due to his experience acting for both sides—not only does he currently represent accident victims, but also he has previously defended claims on behalf of ICBC.
In his years of practice, Simon has acquired extensive Supreme Court trial experience, including jury trials, and is always prepared to take your ICBC claim to trial if a fair settlement cannot be achieved.
Doug McKinnon – Claims Advisor
A Vancouver native, Doug has over 30 years of experience working with personal injury claims.
From 1980 – 1984, Doug was as an independent adjuster working primarily for ICBC. He was then hired by ICBC in 1984 and worked in the personal injury claim division as an adjuster, Claims Manager and Regional Rehabilitation Manager. Doug chose to leave ICBC in 2001.
Doug is considered an expert on ICBC policy and procedures.
